Dr Nick Peters
I grew up New Zealand, and gained a Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science, and a Bachelor of Dental Surgery with distinction from the University of Otago, which is the only dental school in New Zealand.
After spending 3 years in a private dental practice in Invercargill, my fiancée and I decided that we’re not built for the cold, so we moved to the Fraser Coast. We have settled in really well here, and we love the lifestyle on offer.
My treatment philosophy is to present you with all of the available options and allow you to make your own informed decision. I will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of each procedure, recommend what I think is best, and answer any questions that you may have.
I keep up to date with the latest developments in dentistry, and I have even published my own research in an international dental journal. Outside of dentistry, I love to cook, play sports and travel. I am passionate about all aspects of dentistry, and I look forward to meeting you!
Dr Samantha Peters
I grew up in Hawaii and moved to New Zealand to study dentistry at the University of Otago, from which I graduated with distinction.
After working in Invercargill for a few years, my husband and I moved to Hervey Bay, and we absolutely love living and working in the area!
I strive to provide a comfortable and pleasant environment in the clinic, and enjoy keeping up to date with the latest advances in dental care.
Outside of work, I enjoy playing soccer and relaxing with friends.
I graduated from the Griffith University Oral Hygiene Program in 2009 and have been working in private practice as an Oral Hygiene Therapist ever since. I have been working at Ian Harvey Dental since 2012, and I am an integral part of the team.
I love my job and enjoy creating a healthy stable environment for the teeth while having a friendly chat and putting a smile on everybody’s face. I am easy-going and great to get along with and I try my best to make hygiene treatment as comfortable as possible for everyone.
